. . . we love the beauty and feel of natural wood, handmade into useful objects and furniture . . . we feel that one’s daily life is enhanced by using of a well-designed jewelry box, not to mention the wearing of a beautiful pair of handcrafted earrings . . . or lighting up a handcrafted lamp with a beautifully painted shade, not just to give a room light, but art . . . or the pure act of slicing one’s daily bread or on a birdseye maple board . . . or a turquoise inlaid one . . . or serving your meal in handthrown clay bowls and platters.
