Collection: Vitreluxe

Portland, Oregon glass artist Lynn Read came to glassblowing through painting, and color has always been his first language. He founded his Vitreluxe studio in 1999. Today he handblows vessels and lighting that sit somewhere between art and everyday object, with soft, luminous color that seems to move as light passes through it. His signature ombré and tube-top vessels show his painter’s touch: each one is shaped by hand, and each one is slightly different from the next. They’re beautiful with a single stem, and just as striking left empty.
