Named for the ancient Greek poetess Sappho, the "architect of longing," the scent opens lush and leafy before warming into cardamom and ginger at the heart, and settling into a creamy base of sandalwood and soft musk. It's not a fruit bowl fig. It's a fig grove at dusk, still warm from the sun.

Candle care: On first burn, allow the full top layer to melt (2-3 hours) to prevent tunneling. Trim wick to 1/4 inch before each use. Do not burn more than 3 hours at a time. Leave 1/4 inch of wax at the bottom.
